A Foundation For Civilization:

The Six Thirteen Standard Of Righteousness

By Jason Lee Royalty

Chapter 1

The Future

Where is the world headed? There is a saying “If you don’t change your direction, you will end up where you are headed.” What direction is the world headed? Well I think the truth of the matter is that the world does not really know where it is going. If you blindfolded someone and flew them by helicopter into a pristine forest in the Rocky Mountains and dropped them off without a compass or GPS or any survival gear and left them to find their way back to civilization they would not know what direction to go. They would be lost. That is the story of Mankind. Lost. The nations don’t know where they are headed or what they are doing. They are lost. If the person dropped off in the mountains took off their blindfold and was surrounded by miles and miles of forest what would they do? They could try climbing up so they could see if there is a road or town nearby. Climbing up to a high point where they could look around and see their surroundings would give them some vision and understanding of where they are and which direction they need to go. Let’s say our lost person spots a road and a small village way off in the distance. So he determines to head that direction until he finds the road and then to walk along the road until he finds the village. He may trudge through miles of forest until he gets to the road and then walks along the road in the direction he saw the village. Along the way he may see a sign telling him how many miles he has to go or maybe someone will pick him up and give him a ride. Either way our lost person is headed back to civilization and safety. Our lost person was no longer lost once he climbed up to a high point and gained some vision, seeing the bigger picture of his surroundings, then he knew where to go and was not lost anymore. The point is that we are lost until we have vision. That is what I want to do, impart vision to help us see where we are and where we need to go. Mankind needs a vision for the promised land to head toward in order to get us out of the wilderness we are lost in currently. People with vision are focused on the future. Mankind needs to focus on the future and decide where we want to go. What kind of future do we want. True leadership has one eye on a desirable future and one eye on the present situation. The goal of leadership is to get from where we are to where we want to be. So, what I was saying is that the world is lost, the nations and their governments and heads of state do not know where they are headed. They are lost. This is where the church comes in to play. The church is supposed to lead the world. Jesus said that His disciples are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Christians are supposed to light the way for the world. Christians are the ones with the lanterns and torches and flashlights and night vision goggles able to see in the dark. Most of Mankind is blindfolded walking in pitch black darkness headed toward a cliff. Christians are supposed to give light to the lost people of the world. The problem is that most Christians are as lost as the rest of Mankind. The goal of this book is to give the light of understanding that will allow us to see, and be free of the darkness of ignorance. The vision I want to impart will help us see the way the world can get on the right path and rebuild civilization on a solid rock. Everyone knows that the world is screwed up, but does anyone know how to fix it. The church should be the one organization that is repairing the world. The world is broken and it’s the church’s job to fix it. The church is the solution to the world’s problems. The problem is that the church is broken itself and needs to be repaired so it can do its job. So, to my readers I am calling out to those who will choose to become true leaders and be the ones who repair the church and repair the world. Once you have read this book you will know how to repair the church and repair the world. You will have gained the knowledge needed to fix what is broken in the church and broken in the world. You can be a leader and change the world if you have faith. Once you have the vision and wisdom to know what needs to be done, then you just need the faith to believe that you can do it and that you can chart the course of human history. God needs some people that have the faith to be leaders and builders. You are going to lead the world in the right direction and rebuild civilization on a foundation that is stable so it grows to the heights it is destined for. This is your destiny, to be a leader of Mankind, and a builder of Civilization. Lets get started.

Chapter 2

Righteousness

I doesn’t take a genius to see that there is something very wrong with this world. Just watch the daily news and you will see the new things that went wrong today. It’s obvious to everyone that something is wrong with the way things are going on this planet. If we look at history it’s the same story of things going wrong all the way back to Adam and Eve. So all of us can clearly see that things are not right on earth. So what is the solution? This may seem too simple, but great ideas can be very simple because they get to the very root of problems. Sometimes problems are incredibly complicated and this world is full of complicated problems, but the solution to all of them is very simple to understand. But even though the answer is simple to understand, it will not be easy to do. Winning the Superbowl is a simple strategy, you just have to score more points than the other team. That’s simple to understand, you just have to beat the other team, but it is not easy to do. The solution to all of Mankind’s problems is simple, but it will not be easy to do. But it can be done, and it must be done, and it will be done. Here is the solution to all of the worlds problems: Righteousness. The human race is off course because we are not living right. The way to get back on course is by living right. This all starts with thinking right. We are not going to get our behavior right until we get our thinking right. Things started going wrong all the way back at the beginning in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve first did something wrong. Things have been going wrong every since then. God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil but they went ahead and did it anyway. What they did was wrong because God told them not to do it. God had one rule for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and they broke that one rule. God also told them that if they ate from that tree they would die. So it is with all of Gods rules, the reason He commands us not to do something is because it will have a negative consequence for us. Adam and Eve broke the rule and the consequences still effect Mankind negatively today. The lesson Mankind has to learn is that we need to obey God for our own benefit. The Bible talks about sinning against your own soul. When we do wrong we are hurting ourselves as well as others. When the Apostle Paul first encountered Jesus, the Lord asked him “Why do you persecute Me?” and “Why do you kick against the thorns?” Imagine being barefoot and kicking a thorn bush, that’s gonna hurt. That’s what Mankind is doing by disobeying God and living the wrong way, we are hurting ourselves. One of the biblical definitions of sin is “All unrighteousness is sin” -1 John 5:17. The world’s problems began with the first sin, and the world continues to stumble because of sin, and have multiplied our problems. So what is sin? The previous verse tells us that “all unrighteousness is sin.” What is “unrighteousness”? Unrighteousness is the opposite of “Righteousness.” Righteousness is the cure for unrighteousness. The only cure for sin is righteousness. Jesus said “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” The call of God is for us sinners to become righteous. Jesus compared our sinful condition to being sick. And being a Good Doctor, Jesus gave us the cure for our disease: “Repentance.” Mankind is sick with a disease called “sin” and the cure is “repentance.” Repentance is turning toward righteousness and away from unrighteousness. This is the goal Mankind needs to aim for “Righteousness.” We must pursue righteousness. Righteousness is living right. Unrighteousness is living wrong. If Mankind will pursue righteousness and try to live the right way instead of the wrong way we can turn this ship around and Mankind can sail into calm peaceful waters without wars and struggles, smooth sailing under the sunshine of Gods goodness and favor. This really is a simple idea to understand but may not be the easiest thing to do, but it is the only way, the only solution to our problems. This just shows how blind Mankind is. It makes perfect sense for us to live right and stop living wrong. It makes perfect sense to expect that if we live right, that things will turn out right. It makes perfect sense that the reason why things are going wrong on earth is because we are living wrong, and getting wrong results. But Mankind is so blind that we cannot even see that this is the basis of all of our problems. The Bible talks about those who walk in darkness, that they don’t know what is causing them to stumble. Imagine walking around your house in the middle of the night in complete darkness. It would be easy to run into something or stub your toe. But if you turn on the light and can see everything, then you will not run into anything or stub your toe. So this is the nature of Mankind’s problems, walking in the dark. We need the light. “The entrance of your word gives light, it gives understanding to the simple.” -Psalm 119:30. The Bible is called the Word of God and it is a light source for Mankind, it gives us understanding. We can walk in the darkness of ignorance or we can walk in the light of understanding. The Bible may be the bestselling Book in history but it is not esteemed as the most important Book in the world. How many schools use the Bible to teach? Hollywood does not esteem the Bible. The nations do not esteem the Bible. Are there any governments with constitutions based on the Bible? I have been saying that Mankind is in darkness and that we are blind. Both of these equate to not being able to see. We need the light of understanding to see, to give us vision. I want to turn the world and the church to righteousness and away from unrighteousness. My goal is to get the world to repent and get the church to repent. Yes, I think the church needs to repent. The church is not teaching righteousness, but it should be. The church is not an example of righteousness to the world because it does not even understand righteousness. It is my opinion that the church is just as lost as the world, maybe even more lost because we claim to have the light, and we have some light, but it is very dim, not enough to keep us or the world from stumbling. I’m not trying to bash the church, but I am not going to pretend we are something that we are not either. I believe in what the church is called to be and who we can become. I am thankful for all the good that the church has done and is doing. But my focus is on the entire world and think the church needs to repent for the sake of the world. We have a job to do. We are to serve the world and save the world. The point of this chapter is to say that what is wrong with the world is sin, which is unrighteousness, and the cure for the worlds ills, is turning to righteousness. If Mankind and especially the church will “pursue righteousness” we can fix this mess we are in and turn things around. Another definition for sin is “wrongdoing.” It is important that we understand what sin is because we cannot solve a problem if we do not know what it is. To help us understand, the term “sin” comes from a time in history when a certain culture used the word “sin” when, during bow and arrow target practice, if the archer missed the target they would say “sin.” So to miss the target, or to miss the goal, or to miss the point, is a description of sin. I want my readers to understand that what I am saying is that the target we need to aim for is “Righteousness.” Imagine a dart board and the very center of it, the bulls-eye. I want you to associate the “bulls-eye” with “righteousness.” Also, to illustrate the point of this book, I want you to think of “righteousness” as the “foundation” of a house or any building. I am suggesting that the “foundation” for civilization is “righteousness.” The next chapter will talk about the “iron rods” in our concrete foundation of righteousness. The “iron rods” are the 13 laws of God.

Chapter 3

Thirteen Commandments

There are thirteen main commandments in the Bible. Most people have heard of the ten commandments. Most people can name a few of them. Like “You shall not murder” and “You shall not steal.” Then there are the two commandments. Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to love God and the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. So that makes twelve commandments. There is one more. Jesus also taught us a new commandment, to love one another. So that makes thirteen commandments. I will put them in order by number for you. These commandments are also known as laws of God.

The Main 13 Commandments Of God, The Main 13 Laws Of God In The Bible

1.”You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind”

2.”You shall love your neighbor as yourself”

3.”Love one another, as I have loved you”

4.”You shall have no other gods before Me”

5.”You shall not make for yourself a carved image…You shall not bow down to them nor serve them”

6.”You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain”

7.”Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work…For in six days the Lord God made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.”

8.”Honor your father and your mother”

9.”You shall not murder”

10.”You shall not commit adultery”

11.”You shall not steal”

12.”You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor”

13.”You shall not covet…anything that is your neighbors”

As I stated in the previous chapter the foundation for Mankind to build a bright future on is the foundation of righteousness and within that foundation are 13 iron rods. The thirteen commandments of God or thirteen laws of God. The laws of God are righteous and instruct us in righteousness. That is why they are part of the foundation of righteousness. It is right to love God and love your neighbor and love yourself. It is not right to steal or murder or commit adultery. So these laws are simple instructions about right and wrong. Most of the problems in the world are because we are breaking these laws of God. Abortion is a common practice on earth. Thousands of babies are killed in the womb every day on planet earth. The commandment “You shall not murder” forbids Mankind to do this to our children. Part of the problem of abortion is linked to the commandment “You shall not commit adultery.” Adultery is when a husband or wife cheats on their spouse and has sex with someone else. But the broader context of this commandment is “You shall not commit sexual immorality.” God created Mankind, male and female, as sexual beings, with boy parts and girl parts. Yes, God invented sex and it is great, but He also invented marriage as the place for sex to take place. Outside of the context of marriage, sex is forbidden. Sex before marriage is called fornication. The world is obviously not following Gods sexual laws. My point was to say that abortion and adultery are linked because most abortions are the result of those who are not married fornicating and then having an abortion. Not very many married people get abortions. The majority of abortions are rooted in sexual immorality, having sex before marriage and not wanting the responsibility of taking care of a child. An unmarried single woman that gets pregnant is facing having to take care of the child on her own and is less likely to want to take on that responsibility than if she was married and had a husband to help her raise the child. I think the command “You shall not commit adultery” is really a blanket command that covers all sexual behavior and could be translated “You shall not commit sexual immorality.” Every sexual sin is a sin against marriage. If a guy has sex with 20 different girls before he gets married to his wife, he has in essence committed adultery all those times. If a woman has had sex with a number of men before she marries her husband she has committed adultery with all of those men and sinned against her husband. Imagine a man and woman getting married and at the marriage ceremony instead of bridesmaids and groomsmen were lined up next to them all of their previous sexual partners. The man has twenty women he slept with next to him and lets say the woman has ten men lined up next to her. How is the woman going to feel about the man she is marrying and how is she going to feel about those twenty women. How is the man going feel about his bride when he sees the ten guys lined up next to her and knows that every one of them had sex with her. How is the man going to feel about those other men that had sex with his bride. He is going to be angry at the men and not very happy with his bride. I’m just trying to illustrate how sexual sin is a sin against marriage. It hurts your future mate. If you have seen the movie “Braveheart” it illustrates what I am talking about. The evil King Edward of England announces a proclamation of “Prima Nocta” upon the people of Scotland which gives his nobles “sexual rights” to Scottish brides on the day of their wedding. Imagine being the man who gets married, and another man gets to have sex with his bride before he does. Isn’t that what sex before marriage is, another person gets to have sex with your mate before you. We could add “You shall not steal” to this. The man who takes a woman’s virginity but is not married to her has stolen from another man what was rightfully his. The term “sexual rights” is important to understand. A man does not have sexual rights to a woman until he is married to her. A woman does not have sexual rights to a man until she is married to him. I am going to move on to discuss the rest of the commandments briefly. We were created by God and He loves us and He wants us to love Him back. That is what the first commandment is about, a loving relationship with our Creator. The devil hates God and will do everything he can to keep human beings from loving God. Please take notice that the first three commands of the thirteen commandments are commands to love. Love God, love your neighbor and love yourself, and to love one another. The first command is to love our Creator, the second and third commandments of the thirteen are about human beings treating each other with love. The first commandment is about our relationship with God, the second and third are about our relationships with our fellow human beings. Moving on, the fourth and fifth commandments of the thirteen are “You shall have no other gods before Me” and “You shall not make for yourself a carved image…You shall not bow down to them nor serve them.” This would apply to Islam and their god “Allah” which is not the God of the Bible. These commands apply to those who make idols and pray to them and worship them and sacrifice to them. The Hindu religion has a ton of different gods. There is only one God, the Creator of the Universe, the God of the Bible. Most Christians believe in the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but the simplest way for human beings to understand God is as Our Creator. He is the Creator, we are His creatures. We are part of His creation and that is foundational to our relationship with God, He is our Creator. The first verse in the Bible says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”-Genesis 1:1. So that tells us that God is the Creator, that’s who He is to us. We can know much more about God, but that is a start and that is the foundation of our relationship to Him. He is the Creator, we are His creatures. Next is the commandment “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.” This is common in movies and everyday life, when people say “God damn it" or “Jesus Christ” or “O my God.” It is using Gods name as a swear word or just very casually. The next commandment is the seventh commandment out of the thirteen “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work…For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.” A lot of Christians think the Sabbath day is Sunday, but if you look at a calendar, Sunday is the first day of the week and Saturday is the last day of the week, the seventh day. Some preachers say that God wants us to rest one day a week so you should pick a day of the week to rest. But that is not what the commandment says, its very clear that God already picked the day for us, the seventh day, Saturday, so that kind of teaching is wrong. I don’t want to get into a lot of detail about this so I am going to cover this commandment briefly. It is a command to work and a command to rest. It is saying that Sunday through Friday are the six days for work to be done but the seventh day, Saturday, is a holy day for rest and is not another work day. With that said there are some exceptions for certain professions. Doctors and nurses and police officers and fireman and EMT’s are going to have to do their jobs. So there are exceptions for some professions but the rest of Mankind is supposed to take the day off. I don’t know that the command is saying that you have to work all six days either, but rather that there are six days for work to be done and one day that it is expressly forbidden by our Creator. Even God rested the seventh day after He created everything as an example to us. God set a pattern for the week in the beginning by working the first six days of the week and resting the seventh day of the week. When Mankind keeps the Sabbath commandment we are acknowledging that God created the world in six days and rested the seventh day. So we are acknowledging and honoring our Creator when we keep the Sabbath. Next is the commandment to “Honor your father and your mother.” First of all, I think this applies to society. It does not say “Honor your father and your father” or “Honor your mother and your mother.” It implies that we should honor the traditional family that God instituted at the beginning. A husband and wife and children, that’s the family unit designed by God. Two men or two women raising a child is not Gods design for family. Gay marriage being legalized is just a sign of how far Mankind has fallen and how lost Mankind really is. Some of these commandments are self-explanatory so I don’t need to say much about them. “Honor your father and your mother” and “You shall not murder” and “You shall not steal” do not need much explaining. I already mentioned “You shall not commit adultery” and how it really covers all types of sexual immorality. Sex is only legal between a married man and woman in a husband and wife relationship. The last two commandments are “You shall not bear false witness” and “You shall not covet anything that is your neighbors.” To bear false witness against your neighbor is to testify in court something about a person that is not true. So it comes down to honesty and lying. Spreading gossip about someone that is not true could be considered bearing false witness against your neighbor. Being fake and deceptive, a sort of chameleon type of personality that changes based on the situation and people your around due to insecurity could be considered bearing false witness. But the root of the issue is honesty verses dishonesty. Some versions of the Bible say “You shall not lie” rather than “You shall not bear false witness.” Christians are supposed to be witnesses to the world that Jesus is alive, so perhaps this implies that Christians should not bear false witness by being hypocrites that don’t live according to the Bible and don’t bear witness of Gods righteous character. Not trying to bash Christians, as I have said, I think the church is about as lost as the rest of Mankind, but this should not be the case. Lastly, coveting is having a wrong desire for someone else’s stuff or husband or wife. The problem is not desiring things, the Bible says “Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” -Psalm 37:4. Yes, God wants us to ask Him to give us the desires of our hearts. The problem is desiring something that belongs to someone else. It is not wrong to desire a husband or a wife, but it is wrong to desire someone else’s husband or wife, that leads to adultery. Its not wrong to desire a nice car, but it is wrong to desire another person’s car so much that you are jealous of them. Coveting can be the root of stealing and adultery. We may desire another person’s possession’s so much that we steal from them. We may desire another person’s mate so much that we end up committing adultery with them. Now that I have briefly covered the thirteen commandments, let me summarize. The title of the book is “A Foundation For Civilization: The Six Thirteen Standard Of Righteousness.” I have presented to you that I believe righteousness is the foundation for civilization to build on, and that part of that foundation of righteousness is Gods main thirteen commandments, or thirteen laws. Righteousness is the standard for human behavior. Anything that does not measure up to the standard of righteousness, is unrighteousness, or sin, and will have negative consequences. It makes sense that if we do right, things will turn out right, and that if we do wrong, things will turn out wrong. That’s simple to understand, it’s completely logical that doing right will get right results, and doing wrong will get wrong results. Looking forward to the future I would ask. What if a nation that currently does not have a stable government experienced a revolution among the people and a new government was established with a new constitution that included Gods thirteen main laws as the foundation of their government. That nation will be blessed by God. If the main 13 laws of God are the cornerstone of that new government, written right into their constitution before anything else, how could God not bless that nation. If the law of the land was that you had to love God and love your neighbor, what kind of society would that become. This government would be a Christian nation, so obviously there would not be the kind of religious freedom as in most democratic societies. But the Bible calls Gods law “the perfect law of liberty.” So it would become the most free society the world has ever seen. The whole point of religious freedom was to prevent religious tyranny. If this new government has to follow the 13 main laws of God, that means the government leaders have to love God and love the people they are governing. So what kind of tyranny would love produce? It wouldn’t. Love does not produce tyranny. Love produces freedom. A government that loves it people and makes sure that its citizen’s treat each other with love would be the greatest government on earth. I believe that there will be new governments with constitutions that begin with the 13 laws of God as the very cornerstone of their government. I believe that God will bless these nations who honor His laws by writing them into their constitution. “Righteousness exalts a nation.”-Prov. 14:34. And if that government and the citizen’s actually keep those laws they will be blessed by God and exalted by God as promised in Deuteronomy 28:1-13. In the next chapter we will discuss the “six” in the six thirteen standard of righteousness.

Chapter 4

Six Words

“Fear God And Keep His Commandments”

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.”

-Ecclesiastes 12:13,14

Those six words “Fear God and keep His commandments” is the message of the Bible in a nutshell. All throughout the Bible it talks about the fear of the Lord. Why should we fear God. Well the main reason is because He can send us to hell for our unrighteousness, for breaking His laws, His commandments. To illustrate this consider the police. We should have a healthy fear of the police because they can arrest us and put us in jail if we break the law. If we are good law abiding citizens then we don’t live in fear of the police. It comes down to justice. We should fear justice if we are doing wrong. In Romans 13 the Bible talks about civil authority, that it does not bear the sword in vain, but is to execute wrath upon evil doers. Evil doers and law breakers should fear governmental authority, they should fear going to jail or prison. Just like children in a home should fear their father or mother if they are being brats. Bad behavior deserves punishment. That is what I am talking about, punishment for wrongdoing. Fearing the consequences for doing wrong. If we are living right we do not need to live in fear. But if we are living wrong, living a sinful life, we should fear being punished by God in this life or after this life, in hell. Hell is the scariest thing ever. The goal is to use the fear of punishment to get us to live right. The Bible says “By the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.” Jesus taught that we should “Fear Him who has power to cast in hell.” So Jesus Himself taught that we should fear God, and specifically linked that fear of God to the fear of being cast into hell by God. We have covered the fear of God briefly and have already discussed the thirteen commandments. I want you to consider that when people die they are buried six feet underground. I think the fact that people are buried six feet under after death is a sign that these six words “Fear God and keep His commandments” are highly important. That when we die, we will wish that we had made it our top priority to “Fear God and keep His commandments.” When we die we are going to be judged by our Creator for the life we lived on earth. We will be judge for every word we have ever said and every word we have written. We will be judged for how we spent our money, we will give an account for every dollar. We will be judged for how we treated other people. If you read Matthew chapter 25, Jesus describes that how we treat other people will be one of the determining factors of whether we are allowed into heaven or cast into hell. It says that those who feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the sick and prisoners, take in strangers, those who treat other human beings with care and love and compassion are called “the righteous” and they are allowed into Gods kingdom, which is heaven. But those who did not feed the hungry, did not give drink to the thirsty, did not clothe the naked, did not visit the sick or prisoners, did not take in strangers, those who did not minister to the needs of other human beings, those who did not care, did not show love and compassion are called “the wicked” and are cast into “everlasting fire” along with the devil and his angels. My point is we will be judged for how we have treated other people. We will be judged for how we handled our relationships. We will be judged for what we did with our bodies, what we ate and drank on a daily basis. We will be judged whether we stayed fit or got fat. We will be judged for how we handled alcohol and drugs, whether we abused them or used them properly and moderately. Not to get off subject but I think alcohol can be a blessing from God if used in moderation. Drugs can be a blessing if we use them rightly. If you have ever taken an aspirin or a Tylenol, you have used drugs. The problem Mankind has with alcohol and drugs is the abuse of them. “Abuse” comes from two words “Abnormal Use.” Caffeine is a drug and it is completely normal to use it for “a little pick me up” in a cup of coffee or a soda pop. But if you drink 6 pots of coffee a day, that is abnormal use of caffeine. I teach moderation and self-control as the answer to Mankind’s alcohol and drug problem. It comes down to righteousness and self-control. Even food can be abused. The world has a problem with obesity. It is not wrong to eat, it is wrong to eat too much. I don’t think its wrong to eat too much once in a while, but eating too much, too often, is the problem. I think God wants us to enjoy life and does not mind when we get a little too full on holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas, or even a Super Bowl party. My point is that we need to handle food and drink rightly and use alcohol and drugs rightly. Abuse of these things, abnormal use of these things is the problem, not the things themselves. Anyway, I am going to move on. As I was saying, we will be judged for how we lived our life on earth. We will give and account for our sex life. Imagine giving account for every orgasm. Was it a lawful or unlawful orgasm? If it was with your husband or wife, that’s perfectly acceptable, you may even hear “Well done” on some of those, but if the orgasm was from fornication or self-pleasuring while looking at pornography those will be judged as wrongdoing, as sin, before God. I could go on and on about how God will judge every detail of our life on earth, but I think you get the picture. God has our lives recorded, video and audio, He can replay our whole life on a movie screen and go over every minute of our life if He wants to. I don’t know exactly how God will judge us, I just know that He will judge us. So this is why the fear of God is so important, because we will be judged by God for how we lived our life on earth. Every choice will be judged, if it was right or wrong, good or evil. So, again we need to focus on living righteously, and big part of righteousness is keeping Gods commandments. When we are dead and buried six feet under what kind of legacy will we have left. Did we love God? Did we love our neighbors? Did we love our self? Did we love our spouse and children? Did we take Gods name in vain? Did we keep the Sabbath? Did we honor our parents? Did we commit adultery or were we faithful to our spouse? Did we steal? Did we bear false witness? Did we keep Gods commandments on earth? Once were dead it is too late to change what we have done, it’s over. The reason I am writing this book is so that we can live according to this information and hear “Well done, good and faithful servant” on Judgment Day. We may be living wrong currently but we can change course and start living right, and start keeping Gods commandments. The subject matter in this book could easily be turned into a hundred and fifty page book, but I want to succinctly get the main message out without a lot of fluff. It will be easier to read if it is a shorter book and maybe more people will read it because it is not a long book. I have read a couple books by an author whose goal is to write books that can be read in 15 minutes. Both were great books. They were “The Butterfly Effect” and “How Do You Kill Eleven Million People?” by Andy Andrews. The Butterfly Effect is about the importance of our choices and the effect they have. How Do You Kill Eleven Million People was about Hitler and the Nazis. Both books are worth reading and easy to read in one sitting. I would like people to be able to sit down and read this in one sitting and remember it for the rest of their lives. What I am trying to teach the Nations is that “The Six Thirteen Standard Of Righteousness” is “A Foundation For Civilization.” The Bible says in Isaiah 59:19 “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” My goal is to lift up a standard for Mankind, that standard is righteousness. And part of the standard of righteousness is the six words “Fear God and keep His commandments” and the thirteen main commandments of God. This is a moral standard for living that will sort out most of Mankind’s problems, if we actually live by this standard. It may not be our fault that the world is so screwed up, but it is our responsibility to turn the world back to righteousness and begin the process of worldwide recovery. You may say that Mankind has been in this condition for thousands of years, do you really think that Mankind can get its act together now. I am a believer. I have to believe that we can restore the world and recover from the fall that began in the Garden. I believe the earth can be restored to Paradise and that we can have heaven on earth. I believe heaven on earth should be our goal. As long as Mankind has the power of choice, the future is in our hands, we can choose the future we want. The key is leadership. We need leaders that can take us into our Promised Land. Leadership is the most powerful force on earth. Human history has been shaped by leadership. So we need people with a vision for the restoration of the world and the faith to try to change the world in a big way. The story in the Bible about the twelve spies who went to check out the promised land can give us some insight into what kind of spirit God wants us to have. Ten of the spies gave a bad report of the promised land, they talked about the giants in the promised land and said “We were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”-Numbers 13:33. But the other two spies, Joshua and Caleb, gave a good report on the promised land. Caleb said “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”-Numbers 13:30. God was not happy with the ten spies that gave a bad report, but was happy with Joshua and Caleb. Why not have the attitude that we can change the world and that anything is possible. That kind of faith pleases God. I believe this teaching “The Six Thirteen Standard Of Righteousness” has been revealed to me by God through several years of fasting on a regular basis. I could go on and on but I hope this conveys my message well enough. Thank you for taking the time to read this. You are destined to be a leader of Mankind and a builder of Civilization.
